In addition to growing food, it is part of our mission to educate our community and unite its members through fun, engaging, educational, fulfilling programs for all.
Fire Cider & Herb Market
Newhall Fields is hosting the sixth annual Make Your Own Fire Cider Workshop, where you are able to craft your own custom Fire Cider tonic blend from roots, vegetables and herbs grown right here at the farm. All supplies including jars, instructions and ingredients will be provided. Hosted by herbalist and perennial grower, Rebecca Ingalls, and local herbalist, Kasey Sampson.
We will also be expanding this year to offer a pop-up Herb Market for those who would like to purchase dried or fresh culinary and medicinal herbs from the farm, as well as a guided Plant Meditation.
The Herb Market & Plant Meditation are free and open to the public. Please visit the Eventbrite listing for more information and to register for the Fire Cider Workshop, which has a sliding scale suggested donation of $40. Card to Culture members please email cj@newhallfieldscommunityfarm.org for access to limited free workshop tickets.

Newhall Fields is committed to making the farm and its resources accessible to everyone– therefore, all our events and programs are offered at sliding-scale rates or by suggested donation. We are also proud to participate in the Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program, which offers EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare discounts. Visit the Mass Cultural Council website to see the complete list of participating organizations. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our community events!
